Who and how: The application

Applying for your own piece of the Internet is neither simple nor cheap. The Applicant Guidebook stretches to several hundred pages and has included within it a huge number of requests and requirements.

There is also a specific application process and software system for making applications. With just a three-month window to submit your application and with the organization in charge, ICANN, recommending that you submit your application as early as possible, it was inevitable that individuals and companies would offer to take charge of the application process for others so they don't have to.

This session will gather three of the individuals most knowledgeable about that process, the rules and the 'most correct' answers that applicants can provide to get through the application period as swiftly and painlessly as possible.

It will supply an overview of the process from different perspective but also take questions from attendees on any aspect of the application itself.
