We are delighted to announce that the August conference will be held at the InterContinental San Francisco, at 888 Howard, on the corner of 5th and Howard in downtown San Francisco.

The hotel is the most modern hotel in the city, having opened in 2008, and boasts 550 guest rooms (all non-smoking), including 14 suites. It recently hosted President Barack Obama.

The rooms in the 32-story translucent blue tower are stylish and packed with the latest features and amenities as well as floor-to-ceiling windows so you can make the most of the view of beautiful San Francisco. And if you book through .Nxt, in-room Internet access will be free.

The hotel itself is situated in the South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood - close to where the next generation of Internet companies are setting up shop - and just about everything from theaters to fine dining to great local bars is within a short walk. Find out more about the neighborhood.

If you don't want to leave the hotel, you will find the Michelin-starred restaurant Luce on the ground floor serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a fine bar adjacent serving a huge range of drinks.

There is a health and fitness center, an indoor lap pool, a jacuzzi, a business center, and a full-service 10-room spa.

The InterCon also offers terrific conference facilities which we will be using to host you and the .Nxt conference.

Since the InterCon was constructed in the Internet era, it contains an integrated Cat-6 fiber optics network backbone with a T3 connection and dedicated conference room bandwidth. Wireless and wired connectivity is available throughout the hotel, along with multiple Cat-6 connections in each conference room. The hotel rooms have VoIP phones, HDTVs and iHome docking stations for iPhones/iPods.
